How have you been doing? I know I’ve disappeared (again), but this time I’ve got big news for you

I’ve finally managed to buy my own domain!

So the blog is now at: www.thekirbaview.com

I know that sounds like a simple thing to do but consider the fact that paying for anything online without a credit/debit card is a challenge, especially when one is based in Ethiopia, and you will see the reason for my euphoria And all the smiley faces

During the change you may notice some strange glitches on the new site but I will iron them out one by one.

I’d like to thank each of you for visiting the blog and for those of you who subscribed, thank you so much for subscribing. Also for subscribers, you don’t need to do anything, you will continue to receive updates from the new site.

Why have I chosen to change?

Well there are several reasons, but one of the biggest ones is that I can now freely do anything I want to do on my blog and use plugins and themes that may not have been available on the free hosting I’ve been using till today. You will start noticing a few changes here and there as time goes by.

What’ll happen to the old posts?

All the old posts will be on the new site. I’ll be deleting them from here over the next couple of days. So all you kind bloggers who have linked to an article here I would be very grateful if you fix the links to point to the same article on the new site.

And that’s it for now guys. I do have a long list of posts I want to write and I’m desperately trying to find a few hours in the week to do that
